The realistic 3D view on the workpiece, the processigns and the working tables allows him to check immediately the result. It consists of two pieces of software, which can be installed separately or together: the program editor and the machine control panel. The software Xilog Plus from the SCM Group is used to manage the CNC-machining centres with numerical control. With only a few clicks the user is able to create a machining program using the software's CAD drawing tools. Cross-platform support: Maestro runs natively on Linux, Windows, and Mac. Xilog Maestro provides simple and intuitive 3D graphic tools for programming the processings and the control of the machine's working tables, which is adaptable to the latest CAD/CAM systems. The complex creation of the tool ranges and optimization of the machining programs is done by the software. ![]() This approach permits the user to concentrate on the definition of the workpiece, the geometries, the handlings and ways of machining. Xilog Maestro launches a new approach at programming the machine, that is strongly process-oriented: The user only cares about WHAT he has to to, not about HOW he has to do it. First presentation to the public in 2011. ![]() Software for programming and control of CNC-machining centres of SCM Group.
